WELCOME TO CHRISTMAS 2013 AT THE EVERGREENS!
Our festive program and menus…
With great anticipation, December is finally here! Help us decorate the trees and as dusk falls, see the lights come on…
We will be hosting an informal Christmas Party with drinks and a light buffet; a warm invitation to the Residents and their families and friends and an opportunity to share a little of the festive spirit and exchange the season’s greetings. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible and hope you will be able to join us.
Our first Musical Christmas Play this year is Puss In Boots, performed by Eva Long Productions. The play will be followed by a Sing-A-Long session which includes lots of traditional carols and for the Finale the actors entertain the audience with some wonderful classic Christmas Songs. Residents, family and friends are welcome to join the fun and Tea and stollen cake will follow.
Christmas Carols with Rebecca Osborne, Friday 13th December
A musical afternoon of Christmas carols and songs to listen to or sing-a-long with. Rebecca will be entertaining you from 2.30p.m. onwards.
We are planning our ever-popular annual outing to see the Christmas lights and decorations in both Bournemouth and Westbourne. We expect to leave The Evergreens at around 3.30pm in the minibuses. The tour will take about an hour, finishing at The Haven Hotel to see the lights come on across the water and the sandbanks ferry as she makes her way back and forth across the harbour’s entrance. We will be served glasses of mulled wine and sausage rolls before making our way back home for sherry, a warm supper and mince pies.
Cinderella, Wednesday, December 19th, 2.30pm
