The Evergreens was purchased in October 2009 by Frank Care Ltd and is now owned and run by two families, The Pountains and The Harpers.
Richard Pountain (Managing Director) is an experienced business manager with 7 years experience working within IBM and 5 years in Property Management.
Mrs Lesley Harper (Care Director) is a State Registered Nurse and previously owned and ran Varndean House Residential Home near Ringwood for over twenty years.
Alan Rose (Registered Manager) has NVQ 4 in Healthcare and over 10 years experience including Dementia care management.
The staff are engaged in a comprehensive training program which is ongoing. The vast majority have NVQ qualifications in Social Healthcare and we promote, encourage and reward staff in their continuing pursuit of knowledge and expertise, all an integral part of the very high level of personal care we aim to deliver at all times and the way in which we hope to maintain and enhance the quality of life at The Evergreens. We never forget that care is a very personal matter and each resident’s individual requests and needs are of great importance to them and their families and the fulfilment of those wishes is what makes life just that little bit more enjoyable.
